The VWDRC Committee is both pleased and proud to announce its largest sponsorship deal for racers since the mid-nineties. With over 20 companies getting involved, 2007 will see the largest prize fund for the winning driver in each of the three classes ever. All three classes, VW Pro, VW Sportsman and VW Alternate Engine will run decals featuring all of the companies’ logos and the prize fund payout at the end of the season for each of the three classes will be as follows:

Champion £650, Runner-up £400 and Third Place £200.

It is fitting that in this, the VWDRC’s 20th consecutive year of Championship Drag Racing that the Champions will receive their largest ever reward alongside the trophy and prestige of being Champion of their class.
